A novel FeCrNiMoCBSi amorphous/nanocrystalline coating was fabricated using a plasma spraying process. The dense with low porosity of approximately 0.99%. consisted 67.8 vol% amorphous phase coupled many nanocrystalline grains that were 5 nm in diameter. mechanical properties the as-sprayed determined by nanoindentation measurement, and tribological behaviors systematically investigated reciprocating sliding contact. results show coatings possess superior wear resistance compared to other...

Hybrid laser-double-arc welding (HLDAW) is an efficient method with multi-heat sources comprised of two arcs and a laser beam, which intricate process much randomness uncertainty due to the mutual effect between multi-plasmas. Compared double-arc (DAW), HLDAW can generally obtain more stable deeper weld penetration, directly affected by synergistic multiple heat sources; however, mechanism has not been systematically studied. In this study, multi-information analysis adopted study...

Shielded metal arc butt welded joints for 9%Ni steel using nickel-based filler were analyzed by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscope, as well transmission microscopy. The nanoindentation method was used to study the correlation between structure and micromechanical properties of fusion joint. results show that there is a microstructural evolution from melted deposit base steel. A significant coarse lath martensite-bainite mixture has been obtained in close boundary while retained...
