Graphene oxide/polyimide (GO/PI) composites with different loadings of GO were prepared by in situ polymerization and solution blending method. By adding GO, the mechanical, electrical, thermal properties could be improved. The tensile strength GO/PI composite 3.0 wt% loading was up to 137.8 MPa, 75.5% higher than that a pure PI. Besides, electrical conductivities increased increase contents. An conductivity value 5.38 × 10 −5 S m −1 0.10 W K for via at content achieved. results indicated...
The tensile properties of carbon nanotube (CNT) fibers have been widely studied. However, the knowledge their compressive is still lacking. In this work, both pure CNT and epoxy infiltrated were studied using recoil measurement. strengths obtained as 416 573 MPa for CNT-epoxy composite fibers, respectively. addition, microscopic analysis fiber surface morphologies revealed that principal failure mode was kinking, while exhibited a in bending with combined morphologies. effect resin...
Multifunctional gene vectors with high transfection, low cytotoxicity, and good antitumor antibacterial activities were prepared from natural aminoglycosides. Through the Michael-addition polymerization of gentamycin N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide, cationic hyperbranched glycoconjugated polymers synthesized, their physical chemical properties analyzed by FTIR, (1)H NMR, (13)C GPC, ζ-potential, acid-base titration techniques. The cytotoxicity these polycations was because hydrolysis degradable...
ABSTRACT Expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (ETPU) bead foams were fabricated by batch foaming with supercritical CO 2 as blowing agent. On the basis of single factor investigation, response surface methodology based on Box‐Behnken Design was used to investigate influences saturation pressure, temperature, and soaking time their interactions behavior ETPU. The results showed that temperature most significant parameter affecting expansion ratio, shrinkage cell morphology Moreover, there an...
Summary Phosphorus‐containing compounds have been widely used as flame retardants for polyurethane rigid foam (PURF). In this work, a number of phosphorus were utilized and studied PURF, including ammonium polyphosphate, pentaerythritol phosphate, triethyl dimethyl methyl phosphonate. The thermal behavior was thoroughly investigated, such degradation, vaporization, the properties degraded products. influence on PURF examined analyzed. results indicated that effect retardant highly related to...
Abstract Multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were amino‐functionalized by 1,2‐ethylenediamine (EDA)' triethylenetetramine (TETA), and dodecylamine (DDA), investigated fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The dispersion of the DDA functionalized MWCNT in DMF is better than that EDA TETA. Carbon reinforced epoxy resin composites prepared, effect amino‐functionalization on properties was differential scanning calorimetry (DSC),...
A two-step chemical oxidation of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with different reagents was particularly studied. The used in first step were the acidic mixture sulfuric acid and nitric acid, second a hydrogen peroxide for time. After each treatment, functionalization yield oxygen-containing groups such as carboxylic group, hydroxyl functional other on surface (CNTs), quantified by analysis XPS measurements. Two-step short period time treated MWCNTs exhibited larger fraction carboxyl...
Abstract Poly(ether‐block‐amide) (PEBA) were prepared by means of a condensation reaction with polyamide‐6 as hard segment and polyether soft segment. The optimal conditions determined the followings: 3% water 0.35% catalyst, temperature 260°C ± 5°C time 4 h under N 2 atmosphere, 1 vacuum, vacuum <80 Pa. Characterization results FTIR H‐NMR showed that block copolymer polyamide was synthesized successfully. obtained PEBA applied an antistatic agent for ABS resin. research blend best...
