We present a modification to the adaptive Goldstein radar interferogram filter which improves quality of interferometry products. The proposed approach makes parameter alpha dependent on coherence, such that incoherent areas are filtered more than coherent areas. This minimizes loss signal while still reducing level noise.

However, when there exist different features single window, especially along border, alpha as estimated from window can be inaccurate and this may result in blurred borders filtered This letter proposes modified based on adaptive-neighborhood technique. idea method...

Geological disasters are responsible for the loss of human lives and significant economic financial damage every year. Considering that these may occur anywhere—both in remote and/or highly populated areas—and anytime, continuously monitoring areas known to be more prone geohazards can help determine preventive or alert actions safeguard life, property businesses. Remote sensing technology—especially satellite-based—can due its high spatial temporal coverage. Indeed, data acquired from most...

Over the recent years, post-mining terrain deformations have been increasingly frequent around Trzebinia. Sinkholes appearing closer and to buildings become a significant geohazard. The research demonstrated that problem of deformation in area is much more extensive than previously estimated. Identification involved analysis historic aerial photographs, airborne laser scanning data, orthophotomaps satellite radar data. Moreover, selected areas using an unmanned vehicle terrestrial scanner...

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) interferometric baseline parameters form important input for SAR interferometry. In this paper, a nonlinear error model is established the and parameterized as polynomial based on natural nonlinearity of orbit satellite. As a sensitive indicator of climate change, mountain glacier dynamics are great concern, but the ice motion pattern an entire surface cannot be accurately and efficiently generated by use only phase-based or intensity-based methods with synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery. To derive movement whole high accuracy, integrated approach combining differential interferometric SAR (D-InSAR), multi-aperture interferometry (MAI), pixel-tracking (PT) method is proposed, which could fully exploit...

The offset tracking technique based on synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image intensity information can estimate glacier displacement even when velocities are high and the time interval between images is long, allowing for broad use of this in velocity monitoring. Terrestrial laser scanners, a non-contact measuring system, measure if there no control points arranged glacier. In study, six COSMO-SkyMed acquired 31 July 22 December 2016 were used to obtain glacial movements five glaciers...
