Purpose The connection between digital manufacturing technologies (Industry 4.0) and the environment has sparked discussions on firms' disclosure of negative information pollutant emissions pursuit positive environmental outcomes. However, very few studies explore how it relates to a firm's robot usage its mechanism. purpose this paper is investigate impacts penetration governance in China. Design/methodology/approach ordered probit model (and model) are employed empirically tested with...

The heterogeneous output effects of inter-city and intra-city transportation infrastructure in China are examined using 219 prefecture-level city data from 1999 to 2012. Using the panel fully-modified OLS analysis, we find that at Chinese estimated contribution rate for highways ranges 8.3-11.7% compared 4.2-7.7% railways 5.8-7.5% public roads without controlling fiscal stimulus package 2009 2010. With this effect, road network increases by 2.1% decreases 4.6% on average. We also provide...
This paper employs the panel unit root tests and dynamic OLS (DOLS) estimator based on 29 provinces of China between 1996 2013 to estimate relationship government spending private consumption with/without disposable income. It is shown that i) an increase in aggregate level has a positive effect consumption; ii) rise economic construction administrative management negative impact while culture education crowds consumption.
Purpose The main purpose of this paper is to explore whether the nature innovation accumulative or radical and what extent past year accumulation technology stock can predict future innovation. More importantly, authors are concerned with a change policy regime variance in quality will moderate Design/methodology/approach examined dataset 3.6 million Chinese patents during 1985–2015 constructed more than 5 citation pairs across 8 sections 128 classes track knowledge spillover fields. used...
Industrial robots are important in promoting productive efficiency but their impacts on the environment remain controversial. Different from previous studies that assumed linear relation between industrial and environmental performance, this study infers there is a non-linear them theories of energy-saving effect, rebound effect scale effect. The results verify our hypotheses unveil an inverted U-shaped for robot-environment nexus by using worldwide data coverage 74 countries regions over...
