In this study, the in vitro photodynamic therapy (PDT) activity of two zinc phthalocyanines (ZnPc1 and ZnPc2) was systematically examined human umbilical vein endothelial cells, focusing on PDT-induced cytotoxicity, reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, inhibition angiogenic processes. Both ZnPcs demonstrated minimal cytotoxicity absence light, confirming their safety as photosensitizers. ZnPc-PDT led to significant cell death via apoptosis. ZnPc1 exhibited enhanced ROS particularly at...

In this study, the PDT activities of two cationic zinc phthalocyanines, ZnPcs, were investigated in 2D monolayer cultures and 3D spheroids three human cancer cell lines: A253, HT29, FaDu. The results indicate that both molecules are non-toxic absence light, which is a crucial feature an effective photosensitizer. Upon exposure to ZnPc1 exhibited significant cytotoxicity all lines, particularly FaDu cells, spheroids, whereas ZnPc2 showed moderate efficacy compared ZnPc1. using phthalocyanines...

The synthesis of novel tetra-substituted manganese and indium phthalocyanines was achieved by cyclotetramerization corresponding phthalonitrile derivative. new compounds have been characterized using UV-vis, IR, 1H NMR mass spectroscopic data. Spectroelectrochemical characterization an phthalocyanine complex performed for the first time in this paper its electrochemical spectroelectrochemical responses were compared with phthalocyanine, bearing a redox active metal center. Electrochemical...

Abstract This study describes the electrochemical, in situ spectroelectrochemical, electrocolorimetric and electrocatalytic characterization of metallophthalocyanines bearing four dioctylaminocarbonyl biphenyloxy groups (MPc's). While CoPc gives both metal‐based ring‐based redox processes, ZnPc CuPc show only reduction oxidation processes. In‐situ method was applied to investigate color electrogenerated anionic cationic forms complexes. Perchloric acid titrations monitored by cyclic...

The synthesis, spectroscopic and electrochemical properties of new phthalocyanines bearing four morpholine chloro units is reported. Two-step synthesis involved efficient nucleophilic substitution 4,5-dichlorophthalonitrile as the key step. free-base phthalocyanine its several complexes have been characterized using UV-vis, IR, 1 H NMR , 13 C mass data. Voltammetric spectroelectrochemical studies show that while cobalt gives both metal- ring-based, diffusion-controlled, multi-electron...

Two novel phthalonitrile derivatives, bearing two hexyloxy groups and a benzodioxin (or naphthodioxin) annulated ring, along with their corresponding metal-free phthalocyanines (H2Pc) were prepared. FT-IR, mass, electronic absorption, 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectroscopy employed for the characterization of all compounds. The effect hexadeca substituents on photophysical properties Pcs was investigated. Photophysical H2Pc studied in tetrahydrofuran (THF). Fluorescent quantum yields (Pcs) calculated...
