Abstract Triassic granites in the Qinling orogen of central China provide insights into regional tectonomagmatic events and tectonic evolution. Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating shows that Yangba, Xichahe, Wulong, Guangtoushan plutons have magmatic crystallization ages 209 ± 2 Ma, 212 208 respectively, slightly younger than time collision between Yangtze North cratons (242 Ma). Major- trace-element geochemistry indicate granitoids adakitic signatures, suggesting they were generated by partial...

Abstract: The Indosinian post‐collisional Wulong pluton intruded into the Mesoproterozoic Fuping Group, South Qinling, central China. In southern part of pluton, some mafic enclaves have sharp or gradational contact relationships with host biotite granodiorite. Geochemistry, zircon LA‐ICP MS (laser ablation inductively‐coupled plasma mass spectrometry) U‐Pb chronology and Sr‐Nd‐Pb isotope geochemistry are reported in this paper. granodiorite shows close compositional similarities to...

The initiation time and tectonic responses of paleo–Pacific plate subduction beneath the Eurasian continent remain controversial. In this paper we report on Early Jurassic (201–198 Ma) monzogranite-tonalite association from southern Zhangguangcai Range, northeastern China. Zircon laser ablation–inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) U-Pb dating indicates that monzogranite tonalite have identical 206Pb/208U ages 201 ± 2 (mean square weighted deviates, MSWD = 1.2, 2σ) 198 3...

Abstract The human movement and economic activities have been drastically reduced due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID‐19) outbreak, leading sharp decreases of pollutant emissions remarkable air quality improvement. Nevertheless, however, changes gaseous concentrations health effects across China during COVID‐19 lockdown period remained poorly understood. Here, a random forest model was applied assess impact on potential effects. results suggested that estimated NO 2 , SO CO in January...

Extensive bedding planes have a great influence on the mechanical properties of coal. In order to study mechanism effects angles and failure characteristics coal in Shanxi Baode mine, uniaxial triaxial compression tests numerical simulations were conducted. The strength deterioration microstructural changes samples then analyzed with discrete element method (DEM) simulation. experimental results reveal that power function criterion has good applicability this It was also found peak at...

In this study, we investigated oxidative stress and tumor marker levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in 136 coke oven workers 60 control subjects, evaluated the correlation between levels. Questionnaires on basic demographic information were also administered. Significant differences employment time percentages alcohol drinkers observed exposed groups. PAH exposure was assessed using urinary 1-hydroxy-pyrene (1-OHP) found to be significantly higher than controls. (P<0.001) MDA,...

Abstract The nature of source rocks and the pressure-temperature-hydration (P-T-H2O) condition are two main factors that control geochemical properties granites. Therefore, evolution P-T-H2O conditions can be used to deduce tectonic setting In this paper, we report on three Paleozoic granite plutons along Shangdan suture revealed increasing melting temperature decreasing pressure from 437 403 Ma, suggesting a crustal thinning process. Tieyupu granodiorites (437 ± 4 Ma) display Na-rich...

Triassic collision between the Yangtze and North China blocks is a key aspect of evolution Paleo-Tethys in East Asia. This paper reports age geochemistry for Late monzodiorite its mafic enclaves from south Qinling (central China). The host have identical zircon U-Pb ages 227 ± 3 Ma 221 Ma, respectively. displays moderate SiO2 (62.44–63.85 wt%) MgO (3.44–4.47 contents high Cr (157–244 ppm) Ni (78–108 contents. Neoproterozoic igneous rocks along the northern Yangtze Block are closely related to evolution of Rodinia supercontinent. This paper presents zircon U–Pb dating, whole‐rock geochemistry and Sr‐Nd isotopes gabbro–granite association from Micangshan area, Block. Zircon LA‐ICP MS dating indicates that tonalite monzogranite Pinghe display identical ages 869 ± 4 Ma (MSWD = 1.3, 2σ) 859 8 1.9, 2σ), respectively. According regional geology, gabbro may be younger.
