In order to improve the luminance of blue emission plasma display panel (PDP), BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+ (BAM) phosphors were synthesized and coated with SiO2. It was revealed that surface coating SiO2 leads an increase in intensity PDP devices. This seems be due excitation light which is transmitted into phosphor, i.e., effective vacuum ultraviolet absorption phosphor via The experimental results suggest BAM SiO2a a way PDP.
In order to improve the primary color purity of organic light emitting diode (OLED), neodymium(Nd)-containing polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) films have been fabricated by a solvent casting method, and their optical properties investigated as functions Nd content in films. The study has revealed that absorption Nd-containing PMMA is due intratransition within 4f shell Nd3+ ion, it becomes larger with an increase concentration OLED devices filters, luminance from unnecessary emissive...
Abstract The effects of surface roughness on the optical properties CdS thin film was investigated using RMS measurements. films for a window layer CdTe solar cell were grown ITO glass by chemical bath deposition method with varying thiourea (CS(NH2)2) mole concentration. measured Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). After obtaining correlation factor between and difference in diffused transmittance spectral integrating sphere, we effect morphology all films. It is obtained that higher value...
In a urea selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, the solution is injected into hot exhaust gas, after which becomes ammonia that acts as reducing agent for de-NOx through evaporation, thermolysis, and hydrolysis. The formation of from decomposition closely connected with thermofluid dynamics well various chemical reactions. An experimental study was performed to investigate in low-temperature environment similar emission gas temperature large marine diesel engine. Also, this...
Using two experimental configurations, self-assembled zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures including nanoplates, nanosaws, and nanobelts were synthesized by thermal chemical-vapor deposition (CVD), their morphological properties investigated. ZnO grown on Au-coated Si substrates in a parallel setup revealed highly defined nanoplates branched nanowires. perpendicular using with without the Au catalyst exhibited vertically oriented nanosaws randomly aligned nanobelts, respectively. In CVD method,...
The effects of Li codoping in ZnS:TmF3 thin-film electroluminescent devices are reported. ZnS:Tm, thin films prepared at several concentrations and substrate temperatures. characteristics ZnS:Tm,Li depend on concentrations, temperatures, the annealing, drive voltages.

In order to improve the material properties of protective layer for alternating current plasma display panels, a small amount ZnO was added MgO layer. The electrical and surface characteristics Mg1−xZnxO films, deposited by radio frequency magnetron sputtering method, were investigated. As concentration increases, crystallinity thin films improves grain size becomes larger. firing sustaining voltages panels with layers, when 0.5at.%, reduced 20V, compared conventional layers. It also found...
ZnS:CeF 3 thin-film electroluminescent devices are prepared in the vacuum and oxygen atmosphere by means of an electron-beam evaporation method. The Auger depth profiles for ZnS films show that substitutes sulfur. luminescent decay time 475 nm 530 emissions Ce 3+ ions reveals increase, particularly emission when atmosphere. experimental results suggest a nonradiative energy transfer via certain defect occurs ZnS:Ce films. A simple model from is proposed, based on type-nonradiative sulfur...
The electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding efficiency (SE) of multilayered thin films in which indium-tin-oxide (ITO) and Ag were deposited alternately from 3 Layer to 9 on Poly Methly Methacrylate (PMMA) substrates at the room temperature using a RF sputtering. We measured optical electrical characteristics by UV-spectrometer 4 point probe method. measurement EMI frequency ranges 50 MHz 1.5 GHz was performed ASTM D 4935–89 compared SEs with theoretical simulation data. Our SE...
The effect of light scattering TiO2 particles surface-modified by Al2O3 coating on the characteristics a dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) has been studied in this paper. surface was coated with modified sol–gel method as function pH and concentration colloidal Al2O3. It revealed that uniform distribution nanoparticles leads to an increase short-circuit photocurrent DSSC device, resulting energy conversion efficiency. This seems be due combination nanoparticles.
To improve the material properties of a protective layer for alternating-current plasma display panels, small amount Sc or Zr was added to conventional MgO layer. The electrical and surface characteristics doped layers deposited by an ion plating method were investigated. Experimental results show that secondary electron emission coefficients are higher than those layers, resulting in reductions firing voltage address discharge delay time. elucidate reason increase emission, changes work...
To improve its light conversion efficiency, NaYF 4 :(Yb 3+ , Er ) upconversion (UC) phosphor, which generates one visible photon by absorbing two or more near‐infrared photons, was coated with SiO 2 nanoparticles. The surface modification of phosphor performed using a modified sol–gel method as function the concentration colloidal silica employed coating precursor. It found that PL intensities depend on silica. When 2.7 wt% used, exhibited homogeneous and an approximately 9% increase in...
The effects of oxygen co-doping in ZnS:TmF3 and ZnS:Tm, Li thin-film electroluminescent devices are reported. Active layers deposited atmosphere at substrate temperatures 200 300 °C. It is found that by codoping the luminance increases, this phenomenon becomes marked films prepared a higher temperature.
Abstract Time‐of‐flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF‐SIMS) has been used to study the degeneration process of self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) alkanethiols on gold upon ambient air exposure. Alkanethiol SAMs with varying alkyl chain length n ranging from = 1 17 were prepared simultaneously and analysed after being stored at for specific time periods. Static SIMS spectra show a range signals characteristic non‐degenerated SAMs, like gold‐alkanethiolate clusters, one hand, degenerated...
