Abstract Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) are essential for the control elimination of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). The forthcoming NTD road map ‘Ending neglect to attain Sustainable Development Goals: a 2021–2030’ encourages cross-sectoral collaboration includes cross-cutting targets on WASH. This commentary reflects collaborative efforts between WASH sectors over past years strengthened partnerships support new achieve 2030 agenda ambition leaving no one behind.
