Taxonomy of the genus Berberis is quite complex, due to overlapping morphological characters, making it very difficult differentiate species within genus. In order resolve this taxonomic complexity, foliar anatomy 10 L. was carried out, for first time from Pakistan, using light microscopy (LM).
