A new kind of pH and temperature responsive poly(acrylamide‐ co ‐itaconic acid) hydrogel was prepared by free radical polymerization using ammonium persulfate as initiator different comonomer ratios. The hydrogels were characterized in terms chemical composition, swelling‐deswelling behavior, morphology, crystallographic drug release properties. All the showed high swelling ability aqueous solutions, maximum being at 7. Swelling decreased on either side 7 (i.e., both acidic alkaline region)...

A novel adsorbent made of freshly obtained calcium oxide nanoparticles and ferric hydroxide dispersed in chitosan matrix (CHI-FCA) was prepared. Batch adsorption study performed to analyze the effect initial concentration, contact time, pH, dose on fluoride sorption CHI-FCA. It observed that maximum achieved at pH 7.10 an optimum equilibrium time 180 min with 8 g/L. Moreover, a synergistic for remediation from aqueous medium. FTIR, XRD, DLS, TGA, DTA, ESEM EDX analysis were investigation...
