Abstract The emergence of a local effective theory from more fundamental quantum gravity with seemingly fewer degrees freedom is major puzzle theoretical physics. A recent approach to this problem consider general features the Hilbert space maps relating these theories. In work, we construct approximately observables, or overlapping qubits, such non-isometric maps. We show that processes in theories can be spoofed system freedom, deviations actual locality identifiable as gravity. For...

We study the entanglement of purification (EOP), a measure total correlation between two subsystems $A$ and $B$, for free scalar field theory on lattice transverse-field Ising model by numerical methods. In both these models, we find that EOP becomes nonmonotonic function distance $B$ when number sites is small. When it large, monotonic shows plateaulike behavior. Moreover, also show original reflection symmetry which exchanges can get broken in optimally purified systems. provide an...

The study of critical quantum many-body systems through conformal field theory (CFT) is one the pillars modern physics. Certain CFTs are also understood to be dual higher-dimensional theories gravity via anti-de Sitter/conformal (AdS/CFT) correspondence. To reproduce various features AdS/CFT, a large number discrete models based on tensor networks have been proposed. Some recent models, most notably including toy holographic error correction, constructed regular time-slice discretizations...

Central to the AdS/CFT correspondence is a precise relationship between curvature of an anti--de Sitter (AdS) space-time and central charge dual conformal field theory (CFT) on its boundary. Our work shows that such can also be established for tensor network models based regular bulk geometries, leading analytical form maximal charges exhibited by boundary states. We identify class tensors Majorana dimer states saturate these bounds in large limit, while realizing perfect block-perfect...

Holographic quantum-error correcting codes are models of bulk/boundary dualities such as the anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory (AdS/CFT) correspondence, where a higher-dimensional bulk geometry is associated with code's logical degrees freedom. Previous discrete holographic based on tensor networks have reproduced general code properties expected from continuum AdS/CFT, complementary recovery.
