Abstract In this study, a compact filtering 2 × array antenna with high selectivity utilizing substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) is presented. The proposed structure mainly composed of coplanar feeding structures, SIW cavities, and four radiation patches by low‐temperature co‐fired ceramic technology. designed not only achieves the advantages but also realizes miniaturized volume 12 1.18 mm 3 . simulated measured results show that center frequency 28 GHz has 10.7% fractional bandwidth 10.8 dB gain.
