A pure molybdenum (Mo) coating layer was manufactured by using the atmospheric plasma spray (APS) process and its wear corrosion characteristics were investigated in this study. Mo prepared to a thickness of approximately 480 μm, it had sound physical properties with porosity 2.9% hardness 434 Hv. Room temperature dry measured through ball-on-disk test under load conditions 5 N, 10 N 15 N. Based on coefficient friction graph at oxides formed during functioned as lubricant, thereby confirming...
Manufacture of Moo 3 coating Layer using therMaL spray process and anaLysis Microstructure properties moO thick film was manufactured by a thermal (atmospheric Plasma Spray, or aPS) its microstructure, phase composition the layer were investigated.initial powder feedstock composed an orthorhombic α-MoO phase, average particle size 6.7 μm.As result APS process, MoO with thickness about 90 μm obtained.Phase transformation occurred during consisted not only but also β-MoO , 2 .Phase could be...
