Feline mammary carcinoma (FMC) is similar to human breast cancer in the late age of onset, incidence, histopathologic features, biological behavior, and pattern metastasis. Therefore, FMC has been proposed as a relevant model for aggressive cancer. The goals this study were develop nude mouse tumor growth metastasis measure expression genes responsible lymphangiogenesis, angiogenesis, progression, lymph node tissues cell lines. Two primary injected subcutaneously, 6 lines into 3 sites...

The pathogenesis is described of renal lesions which developed in 1-day-old chicks fed a ration containing 10% sodium chloride for 25 successive days. gross are described. Microscopically the kidneys showed that nephrosis and glomerular changes were very prominent. These included hypertrophy, formation epithelial crescents, fibrous adhesions, lobularity, shrinkage collapse tuft thickening basement membrane capillary tuft. Segmental hyalinosis was also sometimes observed.

During necropsy of 1248 adult chickens, 126 non-leukotic neoplasms were diagnosed as follows: 83 (65.9%) peritoneal carcinomatosis, 24 (19.0%) myxosarcomas, 17 (13.5%) leiomyomas, and 2 (1.6%) haemangiopericytomas. In addition, three tumours in pigeons found to be basal cell carcinomas. Haemangiopericytomas chickens carcinomas are recorded here for the first time. The ovarian origin designated is confirmed discussed.

Of 100 uteri of ewes collected from a slaughterhouse, 44 had endometritis. These cases were classified as acute endometritis (18%), lymphocytic (59%), chronic non-suppurative (16%) and suppurative (6.8%). Aerobic bacteria isolated 26 uteri. The most commonly Escherichia coli, Corynebacterium pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus. organisms then inoculated into the normal ewes. None consistently produced any particular type endometrial lesion.

Summary The possible mechanisms by which oxytocin and hysterectomy control development involution of the corpora lutea rabbits were studied. It was found that degenerative changes leading to corpus luteum are not a result merely time but appear be an imbalance between luteotropic luteolytic factor reaching ovary via blood. In activity pitocin is achieved decreasing blood supply stimulating formation white fibrous connective tissue. This results in degeneration luteal cells. action mediated...
