Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) offers significant potential for producing large, complex components with short lead times. While progress in WAAM technology has primarily been made the field of gas metal arc welding (GMAW), plasma (PAW) not yet sufficiently researched. PAW distinct advantages due to its ability easily separate heat input from material deposition, thereby providing greater flexibility parameter optimization than GMAW. Meeting stringent geometric specifications is...

Metastable excited neutral Ti and Ni atoms in electronic states with energies up to approximately 0.2-eV excitation energy, ion sputtered from polycrystalline samples, have been analyzed respect their relative population velocity distribution. The influence of the configuration (${\mathit{a}}^{3}$F for ${\mathit{a}}^{3}$F ${\mathit{a}}^{3}$D Ni) on energy distribution has investigated. targets bombarded 8.0 keV ${\mathrm{Ar}}^{+}$ ions under a 45\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} angle...

We report for the first time production of LiHg excimer by a photochemical reaction excited Li2 molecules with Hg(6s2 1S0). Excitation energy was provided cw ultraviolet (UV)-argon ion laser operating in single-line and multi-line mode or pulsed XeCl at 3080 Å. observed bound-free emission form diffuse bands peaking 4450 4670 The latter structured bound–bound lines. Relativistic ab initio calculations potential curves relevant dipole transition moments were performed. Using these results, an...

Along with an ab initio recalculation of the NaHg(X1/2) ground state potential curve we present identification chemiluminescence NaHg red bands. Based on quantum simulations relevant vibronic transitions following production molecule by photochemical reaction via sodium dimer, propose nascent population distribution in upper NaHg(II1/2) to peak at v′=2, described a Gaussian α=0.023.

A detailed study on yellow conical emission observed in dense sodium vapor following near-resonant one-photon excitation of the Na 42P levels was performed. The origins are suggested to be due Raman resonant four-wave parametric mixing processes. In order describe spectral and spatial features off-axis emission, we introduce self-phase modulation induced-phase as important additional nonlinear processes, explaining nonmonotonic detuning wavelength radiation with exiting laser vicinity...
