Abstract This article evaluates the wave velocity of a leptadenia pyrotechnica rheological elastomer (LPRE) microbeam surrounded by micro piezoelectric and porosity functionally graded materials' (FGMs) layers. Different models graphene nano plates (GPLs) for reinforcing face sheet are assumed adopting Halpin–Tsai modified micromechanics theory to obtain Poisson's ratio Young modulus smart layer. The material properties whole system as viscoelastic state hypothesized using Kelvin–Voigt...

In order to alleviate the problems of complex structure and low reliability traditional Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) rotary actuator, a planar vortex actuator (PVA) based on SMA material was proposed directly output torque angular displacement. Based calculation method PVA constitutive model phase transition equation SMA, mechanical is established, pre-tightening torque, temperature, rotation angle are obtained. The relationship expression between tests has verified model. results show that...

Flywheels play a critical role as core components in satellite attitude control systems. However, their high-speed rotation inevitably generates vibrations that have detrimental impact on the in-orbit imaging capabilities of high-precision remote sensing payloads. This study focuses passive vibration isolation design flywheels. The flywheel-mounted structural plate and flywheel platform are considered whole system (termed plate-isolator system). In this system, is treated an elastomer. By...

Due to the inherent hysteresis characteristics of smart material, positioning accuracy piezo-driven manipulator was always decreased. Especially in multi-degrees-of-freedom (MDOFs) compliant manipulators driven by multismart actuators, cross-coupled among MDOFs decreased such platforms significantly. In this paper, feature identification and coupled compensation a XY investigated. To establish manipulator, modified Bouc–Wen model has been proposed, Genetic Algorithm-based Particle Swarm...
