We have analyzed the impact of different forcings, such as rain and seismicity, on slope instabilites an active volcano. For this, we compiled a catalog locations volumes rockfalls in Piton de la Fournaise crater using seismic records. validated it by comparing to those deduced from photogrammetric data. 10,477 rockfalls, spanning period 2014 2016. This corresponds renewal volcanic activity after 41‐month rest. Our analysis reveals that renewed eruptive has unsettled edges. External forcings...
In this study, the geomorphological evolution of an inner flank Cratère Dolomieu at Piton de La Fournaise/La Réunion was investigated with help terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) data, photogrammetric images, and historical webcam photographs. While TLS data images were recorded during three field surveys, study also able to use that installed for monitoring volcanic activity inside crater. Although webcams originally intended be used only visual area, certain times they captured image pairs...
Abstract. In four study areas within different lithological settings and rockfall activity, lidar data were applied for a morphometric analysis of block sizes, shapes talus cone characteristics. This information was used to investigate the dependencies between size, shape lithology on one hand runout distances other hand. our study, we able show that seems have an influence size gravitational sorting did not occur all studied debris cones but parameters apparently control length boulders....
Abstract. In high mountain regions, rockfalls are common processes, which transport different volumes of material and therefore endanger populated areas infrastructure facilities. four study within lithological settings, LiDAR (light detection ranging) data were acquired for a morphometric analysis block sizes, shapes talus cone characteristics. Based on these high-resolution terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) data, the three axes every larger than 0.5 m in referenced point cloud measured....
In Deutschland sind ca. 6,5 Mio. Menschen an Diabetes mellitus erkrankt.
<p>High mountain environments have been confronted with rising temperatures and geomorphological changes over the past 150 years, considerable retreat of glaciers constituting one most pronounced impacts in Alps. Concurrent degradation permafrost headwalls exposed from downwasting ice periglacial hillslopes alongside causes increasing sediment flux onto glacier surfaces. The accumulation supraglacial debris at current tongue promotes water-storage debris-covered bodies is...
