This article reviews the body of empirical work on human resource management in times crisis, including that which was conducted prior to COVID-19 pandemic and has been published since outbreak pandemic. Following this, we introduce special issue, summarizing six articles included. Finally, present a comprehensive agenda for future research how manage resources during crisis based insights from review our own knowledge literature.

Abstract Some universities rely on their élitism as one mechanism to attract and retain talented faculty.
