We describe the SemEval task of extracting keyphrases and relations between them from scientific documents, which is crucial for understanding publications processes, tasks materials. Although this was a new task, we had total 26 submissions across 3 evaluation scenarios. expect findings reported in paper to be relevant researchers working on content, as well broader knowledge base population information extraction communities.

We consider the problem of recommending comment-worthy articles such as news and blog-posts. An article is defined to be for a particular user if that interested leave comment on it. note calls elicitation commenting-interests from content both past comments made by users. thus propose develop content-driven profiles elicit these latent interests users in commenting use them recommend future commenting. The difficulty modeling varied nature users' make technically challenging. resolved...

Automated disease diagnosis and prediction, powered by AI, play a crucial role in enabling medical professionals to deliver effective care patients. While such predictive tools have been extensively explored resource-rich languages like English, this manuscript focuses on predicting categories automatically from symptoms documented the Afaan Oromo language, employing various classification algorithms. This study encompasses machine learning techniques as support vector machines, random...

Abstract In healthcare institutions, an automated system plays a critical role by enhancing patients’ satisfaction with service delivery. This paper focused on the development of model that assists patients in finding appropriate medical specialists Afaan Oromo. To do this, text preprocessing tasks were applied to data remove unnecessary texts, punctuation, and numbers, as they would be suitable for training model. A feature extraction task is obtain standard Oromo health dataset using...

Automatic medical document classification using machine learning techniques can enhance the productivity of healthcare services by reducing processing time and cost. This work proposes an ensemble approach to develop a model that classifies electronic documents in Afaan Oromo. The main tasks this are preparing corpus, pre-processing, training models, process. We used term frequency-inverse frequency (TF-IDF) bag words (BOW) feature extraction methods. An technique is it creates multiple...

Users of a personalised recommendation system face dilemma: recommendations can be improved by learning from data, but only if other users are willing to share their private information. Good predictions vitally important in precision medicine, genomic information on which the based is also particularly sensitive, as it directly identifies patients and hence cannot easily anonymised. Differential privacy has emerged potentially promising solution: considered sufficient presence individual...

In this paper a new concept of ranking among the solutions same front, along with elite preservation mechanism and ensuring diversity through nearest neighbor method is proposed for multi-objective genetic algorithms. This algorithm applied on set benchmark test problems results are compared that NSGA-II (a similar algorithm). The seen to over perform existing algorithm. More specifically, approach has been used solve deceptive optimization in better way.

Understanding user generated comments in response to news and blog posts is an important area of research. After ignoring irrelevant comments, one finds that a large fraction, approximately 50%, the are very specific can be further related certain parts article instead entire story. For example, recent product review Google Nexus 7 ArsTechnica (a popular blog), reviewer talks about prospect "Retina equipped iPad mini" few sentences. Recommending lifestyle articles is of immediate interest to the e-commerce industry and beginning attract research attention. Often followed strategies, such as recommending popular items are inadequate for this vertical because two reasons. Firstly, users have their own personal preference over items, referred styles, which lead long-tail phenomenon. Secondly, each user displays multiple personas, persona has a could be dictated by particular occasion, e.g. dressing party would different...

Let $(R, \mathfrak {m})$ be a regular local ring of dimension $d$ which is essentially finite type over field $k$ such that the residue $R$ infinite. $f \in {m} \smallsetminus {m}^2$ parameter and $n$ an integer $2n \geq d + 1$. $I \subset R_f$ ideal height $I/I^2$ generated by elements. It proved any given set generators can lifted to $I$.
