Far UV circular dichroism (CD) and fluorescence spectroscopy were used to investigate the interaction between bovine serum albumin (BSA) metallothionein (MT). Both spectroscopic probes gave proofs on of two proteins. At pH 4.0, 7.0 9.0, BSA showed a negative increase in ellipticity at far-UV range presence MT indicating an a-helical content decrease β-sheet structure. In 4.0 intensity was observed. Tryptophan quenching experiments also performed using acrylamide KI as quenchers. Under acidic...

Retention prediction models based on multiple linear regression (MLR) and artificial neural network (ANN) for adrenoreceptor agonists antagonists chromatographed a polyvinyl alcohol-bonded stationary phase under hydrophilic interaction chromatography were described. The showed the combined effects of solute structure mobile composition retention behavior analytes. Using stepwise MLR, retentions studied compounds satisfactorily described by five-predictor model; predictors being %ACN,...

Abstract The development of retention prediction models for the seven ginsenosides Rf, Rg1, Rd, Re, Rc, Rb2, and Rb1 on a polyamine‐bonded stationary phase in hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC) is presented. were derived using multiple linear regression (MLR) artificial neural network (ANN) logarithm factor (log k ) as dependent variable four temperature conditions (0, 10, 25, 40°C). Using stepwise MLR, analytes all was satisfactorily described by two‐predictor model wherein...

Simultaneous enantioseparation with sensitive detection of four basic drugs, namely methoxamine, metaproterenol, terbutaline and carvedilol, using a 20-mum ID capillary native beta-CD as the chiral selector was demonstrated by large-volume sample stacking method. The procedure included conventional loading either hydrodynamically or electrokinetically at longer injection times without polarity switching EOF manipulation. In comparison to injections, depending on analyte, about several...

This study presents the advantages of 20 microm inner diameter (id) capillary for enantioseparation ten basic drugs with native beta-CD as chiral selector. The apparent binding constants each enantiomeric pair were determined to calculate optimum concentration ([beta-CD]opt) and optimization was subsequently carried out. Comparison id 50 made in terms results obtained detection limits. Applying conditions compound, reproducible (RSD from 0-3; n>5) capillary. Although sensitivity is lower...

Abstract A sensitive micellar electrokinetic chromatographic method to analyze salbutamol, guaifenesin, and dyphylline employing 20 µm inner diameter capillaries was developed. Sensitive analysis of the drugs at a concentration range about 0.5 60 µg/mL demonstrated using large volume sample stacking with 75% acetonitrile as diluent. Using internal standard, detection limits were 0.07 0.21 for salbutamol respectively. standard addition method, accurate determination guaifenesin in syrup...

Diabetes mellitus, a complex chronic disease that is associated with hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) affects millions of people worldwide. This study evaluated the hypoglycemic activities male and female Antidesma bunius, commonly known as currant tree or bignay, extracts in alloxan-treated ICR mice. In addition, effects treatments on urea nitrogen (BUN) creatinine levels were determined. Phytochemical screening using standard protocol was performed. Plant (500 mg/kg) administered orally...

Abstract Separation of seven ginsenosides at elevated temperature by ultra high pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC) on reversed phase C18‐ bonded silica stationary was studied. All separations were carried out with a binary mobile consisting CH3CN/H2O in isocratic elution mode. It found that increasing the column resulted efficient separation and complete resolution ginsenosides. Generally, efficiency increased as function temperature. The effect velocity also investigated.
