Detector-plane prototypes of the very forward calorimetry a future detector at an e+e− collider have been built and their performance was measured in electron beam. The plane comprises silicon or GaAs pad sensors, dedicated front-end ADC ASICs, FPGA for data concentration. Measurements signal-to-noise ratio response as function position sensor are presented. A deconvolution method is successfully applied, comparison shower shape absorber depth with Monte-Carlo simulation given.
