This paper proposes an improved adaptive approach involving Bacterial Foraging Algorithm (BFA) to optimize both the amplitude and phase of weights a linear array antennas for maximum factor at any desired direction nulls in specific directions. The Bacteria is made using principle delta modulation. To show improvement making algorithm adaptive, results nonadaptive algorithms are given. It found that Adaptive (ABFA) capable improving speed convergence as well precision result.
An efficient Call Admission Control (CAC) scheme for IEEE 802.16e Mobile WiMAX that satisfies both bandwidth and delay guarantee to the admitted connections has been proposed in this paper. The CAC provides higher priority Handoff connections, because it is more annoying drop an ongoing connection than blocking a newly originated connection. Also UGS are given most common service used by people communication everyday life. analytical model developed evaluate performance of scheme. compared...
This paper presents an optimum design technique ofan asymmetric V-dipole antenna and it's a three-element Yagi-Uda array using Genetic Algorithm (GA). The optimization parameter for the is directivity that are input impedance directivity. theoretical analysis has been done Moment-Method in very simple step-by-step way, subsequently GA applied obtaining optimized parameters. Comparative results provided 3-elements straight dipole Yagi array. Further, with respect to included angle given based...
The design of antenna array with desirable multiple performance parameters such as directivity, input impedance, beam width, and side-lobe level using any optimization algorithm is a highly challenging task. Bacteria Foraging Algorithm (BFA), reported by electrical engineers, the most robust efficient in comparison other presently available algorithms for global multi-objective, multi-parameter problems. objective this article to apply new technique, BFA, Yagi-Uda multi-objective parameters....
Abstract WiMAX—the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access is a promising technology offering high‐speed data, video and multimedia services over mobile platform evolving toward all IP networks. The increasing demand of WiMAX VoIP due to the simplicity installation cost reduction compared with traditional wired DSL cable. challenges service providers lie Quality Service (QoS) under varying fading environment while at same time maximizing resource utilization. This paper presents a comparative study between the Bacteria-Foraging (BF) and Particle-Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithms, their application to antenna-array optimization problem. The performance of Algorithm is studied by varying its different parameters in beamforming null-steering problems. Null steering along with sidelobe suppression also done for various degrees complexity. A generic cost function developed, which can be controlled meet requirements particular application. two...
In many countries around the globe improper management of water resources for agriculture is one main issues failure to crop yield. Hence there a demand system which will maximize this paper novel approach made design and fabricate closed-loop control soil-moisture monitoring controlling. It achieved through deployment proposed Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) model in field. Since end users are farmers, cost product holds great importance. market WSN motes available but they not application...
Cognitive radio networks (CRN) have paved the way toward increase in spectrum utilization through opportunistic usage of available idle bands. However, its capacity is bounded by various factors, including channel characteristics, licensed user behavior, application requirements, etc. Currently, a fixed upper bound system CRN limits further progress research this domain. The work paper aims to solve problem introducing concept `two-tier CRN' that not only increases overall but also allows...
In this article, an attempt has been made to revisit the design of well-established log periodic dipole array (LPDA) in light recent optimization technique, bacteria foraging algorithm (BFA). Although there are many works published literatures based on various techniques, article deals with LPDA for entire ultra high frequency (UHF) television (TV) spectrum (470–870 MHz) covering 400 MHz bandwidth and accommodating 49 channels. The challenges lie selecting suitable values τ σ 134 points...
In this paper, we present an analytical model for the scheduled access mechanism of IEEE 802.15.6 based Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) taking into account impact non-ideal transmission channel. We provide a thorough analysis and closed form expressions frame delay, reliability data transfer, throughput, energy consumption, Energy Efficiency (EE) sensor nodes with medium to high rate applications. validate our theoretical derivations through simulation results. The results show variation...
Application of Wireless sensor network (WSN) is increasing in a rapid speed. As networks may interact with sensitive data and operate hostile unattended environments, it imperative that security concern be addressed from the beginning system. But also introduce severe resource constraints due to their lack storage power. Both these represent major obstacles implementation traditional computer techniques wireless network. There has some compromise between energy. Asymmetric protocol like RSA...
Voice over IP is expected to be very promising application in the next generation communication networks. The objective of this paper analyse VoIP performance among most competing wireless networks like WiMAX, WLAN and its integrated frameworks etc. WiMAX having higher bandwidth provides capacity but with degraded quality service while low coverage.Hence, an network using backbone hotspots has been developed setup. As OPNET 14.5.A a real life simulation environment, we have opted as platform...
Abstract Massive boost in data traffic demand and inconsistent user's behavior have necessitated modern cellular networks to evolve toward heterogeneous architectural framework consisting of macro small cells accommodate ever‐increasing density. Literature survey reveals that the deployment additional can encounter booming coverage, capacity, QoS constraints by maintaining overall operational cost network. In this paper, at first, a suitable model based on nonhomogeneous Poisson point...
