In this paper we investigate the statistical properties of gravitational lenses for models in which a cosmological term decreases with time as $\Lambda \propto a^{-m}$, where $a$ is scale factor and $m$ parameter ($0 \leq m < 3$). We show that given low values present matter density $\Omega_{m0}$, there wide range lensing rate significantly smaller than constant ($\Lambda$) models. also $\Omega_{m0}$ $m\stackrel{>}{\sim}2$ have high likelihood to reproduce observed lens statistics HST...

Located in the Campos Basin, Brazil, Marlim field, consists of two turbidite systems deposited during eustatic sea-level variations Oligocene/Miocene. The reservoir was discovered 1985, and its production started to decline 2002. One techniques selected assist recovery oil from 4D seismic. However, interpretation can be complex. In order help address this issue, present study proposed an analysis depletion a small field area 1997 2010, combining geophysical (4D seismic) geomechanical (pore...

The natural gas production from Brazilian pre-salt fields imposed new challenges for petrochemical industry, mainly due to the higher pressures involved and large amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) present (up 70%) which also increases water content in vapor phase. Actual treatment facilities are not adequate this scenario studies have been conducted adapt units apply adsorbents materials membranes CO2 removal at high pressures. To better develop such investigations, sensors on-line monitoring...

We investigate the statistical properties of gravitational lenses for flat models in which a cosmological term decreases with time as ⁁ ∝ − m , where is scale factor and parameter (0 ≤ < 3) (Bloomfield Torres Waga 1995).
