Self-assembled three-dimensional BiOI microspheres composed of nanoplatelets were synthesized at low temperature using ethanol–water mixed solvent as reaction media and NH3·H2O pH adjustment. The as-prepared was characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, nitrogen sorption. possible formation mechanism for the architectures discussed. It found that alkali play key roles in microspheres. photocatalytic activity sample...
A series of bismuth oxyhalides with controllable composition and band structure have been successfully synthesized by a facile general one-pot hydrothermal route using Bi2O3 as the starting material; their structures visible-light-induced photocatalytic performances are investigated.
Bi7O9I3, a fresh member of the bismuth oxyhalide family, with hierarchical micro/nano-architecture is successfully synthesized by one-step, template and surfactant-free solution method. The as-prepared product was characterized various techniques. X-ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscopy thermogravimetric analysis confirm that composition as-fabricated sample Bi7O9I3. Scanning transmission electron microscopy observations reveal as-synthesized exhibits microsized plate-like structure...
Zero‐dimensional photoluminescent (PL) graphene quantum dots (GQDs) that can be used as the cell‐imaging reagent are prepared by a hydrothermal route using oxide (GO) carbon source. Under optimized conditions, an initial hydrogen peroxide concentration of 0.5 mg mL −1 at 180 °C for 120 min, GO sheets cut into nanocrystals with lateral dimensions in range 1.5–5.5 nm and average thickness around 1.1 nm. The as‐prepared GQDs exhibit abundance hydrophilic hydroxy carboxyl groups emit bright blue...
Lithium tetrafluoroborate (LiBF4) used as an electrolyte additive to improve the cycling performance of LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2/graphite cell at higher operating voltage is investigated. With 1.0 wt% LiBF4 addition into electrolyte, capacity retention lithium ion battery after 100 cycles was greatly improved from 29.2% 90.1% in 3.0 V–4.5 V. To understand mechanism enhancement high operation, properties including performance, impedance behavior well characteristics electrode interfacial are...
