The hydroxyapatite was modified via a stearic acid with different content.The microstructure, surface structure and element binding energy of the were investigated.Furthermore, activation ratio also tested.The FTIR XPS detection revealed that molecules had been grafted onto hydroxyapatite's through ionic bonds, which formed reaction between carboxyl groups calcium ions on surface.The result test demonstrated in presence critical value acid, then to nearly complete hydrophobic state.
