When a small amount of CuO was added to (Na 0.5 K )NbO 3 (NKN) ceramics sintered at 960°C for 2 h, dense microstructure with increased grains developed, probably due liquid‐phase sintering. The Curie temperature slightly when exceeded 1.5 mol%. Cu 2+ ion considered have replaced the Nb 5+ and acted as hardener, which E c Q m values NKN ceramics. High piezoelectric properties k p =0.37, =844, ɛ T /ɛ 0 =229 were obtained from specimen containing mol% h.
This paper presents a new type of piezostack-driven jetting dispenser which can be applicable for semiconductor packaging processes. After describing the structural components dispensing mechanism and operating principle, dynamic modeling is undertaken by considering behavior piezostack, hydraulic magnification, needle adhesive fluid. In modeling, fluid models magnification are derived using mechanical model analogous to corresponding lumped parameter model. The governing equation motion...
This paper presents a new jetting dispenser system which is adaptable to various packaging processes such as light emitting diode and flip chip packaging. The proposed driven by piezostack actuators lever-hinge mechanism. In order improve performances accurate dispensed amount adaptability high viscosity fluid, two are used. By activating the dually, angular displacement of lever can be controlled produce required motion needle. Firstly, configuration working principles explained, design...
Elastomer-based piezoresistive sensors are an impactful and promising means of monitoring biological motion, tracking biosignals, measuring the mechanical collision physical stimuli in robots or machines. Piezoresistive behavior is generally realized when conductivity imparted to elastomers, which results resistivity changes by external force that induces elastic deformations. elastomer can be achieved mixing coating with a conductive material, thereby forming composite structure. In this...
We propose two-dimensional periodic conical micrograting structured (MGS) polymer films as a multifunctional layer (i.e., light harvesting and self-cleaning) at the surface of outer polyethylene terephthalate (PET) cover-substrates for boosting solar power generation in silicon (Si)-based photovoltaic (PV) modules. The ultraviolet-curable NOA63 MGS fabricated by soft imprint lithography exhibits hydrophobic property with water contact angle ∼121° no inclination dynamic advancing/receding...
A compact ultrasonic motor using sandwiching piezo-ceramic plates was developed, having advantages of low manufacturing costs, simple driving circuit, and high scalability. The stator is composed two piezoelectric attached to a T-shaped steel body. Two orthogonal bending modes can be excited by one plate the reversed motion rotor obtained on opposite side. prototype with size 15 mm × 2.44 2 mm, operated at 44.8 kHz, experimentally characterized, maximum torque mN m obtained. Maximum power...
CuO was used to enhance the sinterability of 0.95(Na 0.5 K )NbO 3 –0.05SrTiO (0.95NKN–0.05ST) ceramics. The poor 0.95NKN–0.05ST ceramics improved by addition 1.5 mol% CuO, so that they were well sintered even at 960°C with grain growth. densification and growth attributed liquid‐phase sintering, probably due presence a liquid phase containing SrO CuO. size decreased when sintering temperature exceeded 960°C, large amount phase. microstructure considerably affected small variations...

A small content resulted a dense microstructure with an increased grain size for specimen sintered at 900°C due...
High power piezoelectric devices are often subjected to external mechanical biases, in applications such as underwater transducers. While the performance of these under pressure has been rather extensively studied, there is a lack study on loss mechanism terms three dielectric, elastic, and losses. Thus, this paper, we bias stress dependence soft Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 (PZT) from scientific viewpoint, using an equivalent circuit methodology based fundamental longitudinal mode. In order measure...
Hierarchical structured polymer (i.e., HS-NOA63) layer with antireflection/light-scattering and self-cleaning functions efficiently improves the efficiency of silicon-based solar power systems.
In this work, critical operating factors of a jetting dispenser driven by dual type the piezostack actuators are experimentally identified. As first step, geometrical information and working principle briefly addressed. Subsequently, in order to investigate performance eight important (or working) such as exciting stroke frequency chosen based on two levels for each factor. Then, reduce number experiments, one-sixteenth fractional factorial design method is adopted an experimental apparatus...
This article presents a novel jetting dispenser featuring piezoelectric actuator incorporated with linear positive displacement pump, to achieve high dispensing flow rate small dot size. A multi-stack type of is adopted and its output amplified via hydraulic magnification mechanism. After describing the configuration operating principle proposed system, static modeling undertaken by analytical method determine design parameters. The result then proven finite element analysis. Subsequently,...
This study presents robust control performance of a direct current (DC) motor with brake system adopting the giant electrorheological (GER) fluid, whose distinguished feature is an extremely high value yield stress. As first step, Bingham characteristics GER fluid experimentally investigated using Couette type electroviscometer. A cylindrical (ER) then devised based on model, and its braking torque evaluated. The ER break incorporated DC motor. After formulating governing equation motion for...
Abstract A new methodology is proposed to measure the dielectric constant and loss of a piezoelectric at resonance frequency range based on burst excitation method. Using k 31 type soft PZT rectangular specimen, we investigated “force” “voltage” factors carefully under short‐ open‐circuit conditions method, in terms ratio ring‐down current voltage with plate end vibration velocity displacement, their phase lags. We provide obtained material properties, including parameters, particular,...
