Newly developed temporary anchorage devices (TADs) serve a strong orthodontic to intrude molars for correction of anterior open bite (AOB). We measured cephalometric changes in skeletal patients which subsequently temporomandibular joint disorders with bilateral point contacts at terminal molars. retrospectively recruited 32 who had been treated their TMD before (overbite: −3.14 ± 1.86 mm). Partial appliances were used posterior teeth using TADs until positive OB obtained (T1). Full fixed...
ABSTRACT This case report describes the nonsurgical management of a patient with Class II skeletal pattern, retrognathic mandible, steep mandibular angle, maxillary vertical excess, and lip incompetence. The treatment approach involved orthodontic mechanics supported anchorage to achieve maximal intrusion retraction dentition. A novel elastic hanging rack appliance, by midpalatal miniscrews, was used. setup for active control on both arches illustrated. Significant improvement in facial...
ABSTRACT A double J retractor (DJR) and palatal miniscrews were used to retract maxillary anterior teeth after failure of buccal posterior miniscrews. The line action passing through the center resistance moment generated by via torquing springs successfully controlled overbite incisor torque during space closure. DJR work well with labial fixed appliances address bimaxillary protrusion.
Summary Objective The aim of this study was to analyse morphological changes in the upper airways patients with anterior open bite treated temporary anchorage devices for intrusion posterior teeth. Materials and Methods Twelve nonobese (body mass index: <25) between ages 19 44 years (mean age: 22.83 ± 8.19 years) were recruited study. Cephalometric radiographs magnetic resonance imaging ( MRI ) scans before after closure without bracketing on teeth used measure airway, which divided into...
Abstract This case report demonstrates the interdisciplinary treatment of a 24‐year‐old female. Her skeletal discrepancy, anterior crossbite, mutilated dentition, and midline deviation made it challenging to achieve satisfactory results, especially without major orthognathic surgery. article thoroughly discusses decision‐making process associated with various alternatives, biomechanical considerations temporary anchorage devices, detailed operational dental implant restoration...
Whole dentition intrusion and distalization poses great challenge in orthodontics due to complex mechanical design possible anatomical limits. This case report illustrates the orthodontic retreatment of a class I hyperdivergent patient by “high-pull palatal gear” (HPPG) technique two mandibular miniscrews. The gummy smile was corrected profile successfully improved through whole arch subsequent forward rotation mandible.
Mini-emulsion and nanoprecipitation techniques relied on large amounts of surfactants, unresolved miscibility issues heterojunction materials limited their efficiency applicability in the past. Through our molecular design developed surfactant-free precipitation method, we successfully fabricated best miscible bulk-heterojunction-particles (BHJP) ever achieved, using donor (PS) acceptor (PSOS) polymers. The structural similarity ensures optimal miscibility, as supported by interaction...
