The use of Sentinel-1 (S1) radar for wide-area, near-real-time (NRT) tropical-forest-change monitoring is discussed, with particular attention to forest degradation and deforestation. Since change can relate processes ranging from high-impact, large-scale conversion low-impact, selective logging, occur in sites having variable topographic environmental properties such as mountain slopes wetlands, a single approach insufficient. system introduced here combines time-series analysis small...

Forest and land fires are disasters that greatly impact various sectors. Burned area identification is needed to control forest fires. Remote sensing used as common technology for rapid burned identification. However, there not many studies related the combination of optical synthetic aperture radar (SAR) remote data detection. In addition, SAR has advantage being a can be in weather conditions. This research aims evaluate model using hybrid convolutional neural network (CNN) feature...

Flooding in urban areas is counted as a significant disaster that must be correctly mitigated due to the huge amount of affected people, material losses, hampered economic activity, and flood-related diseases. One technologies available for mitigation prevention satellites providing image data on previously flooded areas. In most cases, floods occur conjunction with heavy rain. Thus, from satellite’s optical sensor, flood area mostly covered clouds which indicates ineffective observation....
