In order to investigate the effect of WC grain size on coatings’ properties and abrasive wear performance, a few WC-20Cr3C2-7Ni coatings with three different sizes were deposited by high-velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) thermal spray process. The phase compositions, microstructures, mechanical investigated. Furthermore, two- three-body performances tested using SiC SiO2 abrasives, respectively. results show that all composed WC, Cr3C2, Ni binder as well (W,Cr)2C phase. resistance coating...

To explore the Co/Cr ratio impact on high-velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF)-sprayed WC-Co-Cr coatings microstructure and performances, three kinds of coatings, namely WC-4Co-10Cr, WC-7Co-7Cr, WC-10Co-4Cr, were prepared by using a (HVOF) spraying process. The coatings’ phase composition, microstructure, basic mechanical properties, abrasive wear, corrosion resistance investigated. results show that all comprise main WC, minor W2C, amorphous W-Co-Cr phase, besides WC-4Co-10Cr coating containing...

Microstructure of WC reinforced Ni -based self-fluxing alloy composite coating sprayed and fused by oxy-acetylene flame was investigated scanning electron microscopy energy dispersive X-ray Spectrometry, diffraction, transmission microscopy. The wear performance the studied a MLS-225 wet sand rubber wheel abrasive tester at various loads sizes particles. Also, resistance compared with uncoated ASTM1020 steel. results indicated that is bonded metallurgically to substrate has homogeneous...

A new variety of Orchidaceae, Dendrobium moniliforme var. hongbinii, collected from Sichuan Province, China, is described and illustrated based on morphological characteristics molecular biological analysis. It belongs to similar D. moniliforme, which it differs by the length mentum more than half bud, angle obtuse, calyx sac ends acuminate, petals mid-lobe are subelliptic, ratio labellum 1/3. Molecular analysis nuclear markers (ITS) plastid (trnL intron) indicates that hongbinii a moniliforme.

In this paper, a series of Al 2 O 3 /Ni composites with various content Ni (0 vol%, 10 20 30 40 vol% and 50 vol%) were prepared, the effect methods compositions on density electromagnetic properties was investigated. The results show that increases increasing sintering temperature as well Ni. Moreover, dielectric constant remarkably Ni, while permeability shows an almost linear enhancement increase content. This suggests composite can be expected to promising substrate material certain compatibility.

Abstract Background Temperature variability (TV) has been widely associated with increased mortality risk and burden. Extensive researches have used the standard deviations of several days’ daily maximum minimum temperatures or hourly mean as TV measures (TV ). However, comparative analysis related to cardiorespiratory is still limited. Methods We collected meteorological data in 45 US metropolises, 1987–2000. A three-stage analyses were adopted investigate TV-mortality associations using...
