Graphene materials have been widely explored for fabrication of gas sensors because their atom-thick two-dimensional conjugated structures, high conductivity and large specific surface area.
Nanocrystalline tin dioxide doped with antimony Sn(Sb)O2 and catalyzed by 1 wt% palladium has been synthesized a sonochemical process. On calcination at 600 °C, the as-precipitated powder produced 8–10 nm sized nanoparticles. The calcined characterized X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, specific surface area photoelectron spectroscopy was used for thick film sensor unit fabrication. percentage response of more than 78% above 200 °C wide range concentrations hydrogen gas....
In the Project Edzoe seismic experiment, waves from a series of shots fired in Greenbush Lake near Revelstoke B.C. were recorded by University Western Ontario at approximately 100 stations along two lines. The first began Rocky Mountain Trench, crossed mountains Jasper, Alberta and then extended NE across Plains to Fort McMurray, Alberta, maximum distance shotpoint being 800 km. second line was roughly with Stanley Falls Whitecourt, Alberta. An interpretation results revealed that topography...
Photoluminescence active amine-functionalized RGO has been synthesized and applied on c-Si solar cells leading to a 10% increase in baseline efficiency.
Here, we have reported the synthesis of three-dimensional, mesoporous, nano-SnO2 cores encapsulated in nonstoichiometric SnO2 shells grown by chemical as well physical procedures such plasma-enhanced vapor deposition, followed functionalization with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) on surface. The main motif to fabricate morphology, i.e., core-shell assembly burflower-like nanobid is distinguish gases quantitatively at operating temperatures. Electrochemical results reveal that rGO anchored...
Ceramic membrane based treatment was proposed for recycling of tannery effluent being discharged from a common plant (CETP) which treats the produced about 400 tanneries in and around Kolkata, India. The efficiency process investigated with help pilot scale study. filtration unit installed inside premises CETP. secondary clarifier is usually into environment treated further by process. microfiltration developed indigenously CSIR‐Central Glass Research Institute used this feasibility...
The use of ultrasonic energy for chemical synthesis has recently become an interesting and growing area research. Using this form energy, we have synthesized nanoparticles SnO2 (8–30 nm) at room temperature by a sonication assisted precipitation technique. In order to understand the effect on particle size their distribution, time was varied during preparation. A 3 h found be optimum produce having below 10 nm. We that gradual increase gradually decreases with morphology increased surface...
Highly sensitive and selective tin dioxide (SnO 2 )-based sensor material was wet-chemically synthesized by sonication-assisted simultaneous precipitation method, their sensing characteristics for various environmentally important combustible reducing gases were investigated resistance measurements on an assembled "Taguchi-type" prototype. Characteristics morphologies of the powder examined...
Amine-functionalized reduced graphene oxide (af-rGO) has been synthesized wet-chemically by modified Hummer's method. Raman spectroscopy carried out to confirm the presence of amine group in rGO network. Photoluminescence (PL) conducted reveal PL conversion property af-rGO. Af-rGO colloids with different densities have coated on a baseline amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) solar cell and respective optical performances compared optimize suitable density, which is further validated investigating...
Vanadia (V 2 O xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">5 ) doped tin dioxide (SnO nanocrystallites were synthesized by sonication assisted simultaneous precipitation method, keeping in view their application for LPG (n-butane) gas sensor. The best sensing conditions determined studying the sensors under different operating temperatures with vanadium loading (in form of V ), presence...
Abstract Carbon bearing materials derived from rice husk (RH) have long been recognized as sorbents for diverse chemicals – both organic and inorganic. This work presents an overview of studies demonstrating a single step process carbonization chemically pretreated RH to produce metal impregnated silica‐carbon char designated silicarbon that can be utilized in sorbing out water‐borne inorganic hazardous substances (such phenol, hexavalent chromium, fluoride, arsenic) air‐borne volatile...
