Experiments (spraying and dipping) were carried out to study the effect of different plant growth regulators with two methods application on gladiolus cv. Pusa Jyotsna for various parameters corm production. Spraying TIBA at 500 ppm produced maximum number corms. Maximum cormels was by dipping corms in kinetin concentration. Corm weight 200 GA3. GA3 resulted per diameter Dipping volume Propagation co-efficient BA 100 as spray treatment, whereas it minimum case 1500 ppm. This may be due retardation.
SummaryTo multiply large number of male-sterile marigold plants for F1 hybrid seed production, an efficient protocol in vitro cloning field-grown differentiated male sterile has been developed. A comparative field performance study tissue culture and seed-derived two genotypes was undertaken to test the possibility using micropropagated production. Tissue raised both had superior counterparts. These were more vigorous growth, i.e. terms plant height, secondary branches leaves spread, while...
