Background: Innovative technologies and informatics offer a wide range of services to health districts, doctors, nurses, patients, is changing the traditional concept care. In last few years, availability portable devices, their easiness transport use, capability collect transmit various clinical data have resulted in fast development telemedicine. However, despite its potential impact improving patient conditions, cost effectiveness reported literature, telemedicine not daily practice.
Serum lipids, phospholipid fractions and the composition of serum lipid fatty acids were studied in 20 children presenting β-thalassaemia major, heterozygous normal controls. Total phospholipids, their cholesterol significantly lower patients with thalassaemia major. These changes referred to hepatic damage severe anaemia, respectively.
