This study reports nickel removing by electrocoagulation of Ni(II)-NH3-CO2-SO2-H2O system at laboratory scale. This work presents the results obtained in carrying out mass and energy balances calcining kiln of company commander Ernesto Che Guevara, for determining consumption index petroleum used obtaining nickel oxide through thermal decomposition basic carbonate. It was shown that a production carbonate              12 t / h with 69% moisture, it is necessary to feed about 1100 kg fuel, an 91.67 fuel per ton load.
