Abstract The frequency mixing property of time-modulated metasurfaces, attributed to the well-known phenomenon temporal photonic transition, has led several exotic functionalities in last lustrum. Based on this concept, we demonstrate possibility achieving nonreciprocal responses near-infrared regime via combining a platform and static high-Q metasurface. In particular, metasurface is designed up-convert incident tone first higher-order harmonic, while implemented establish filtering...

While optical pulse shapers have important applications in classical and quantum communication regimes laser resonant cavities, engineering of group delay dispersion (GDD) remains one their greatest challenges. Herein, by taking advantage the electrically tunable properties 2D material low‐loss nature dielectric material. This paper demonstrates how an active all‐dielectric metasurface assisted can be leveraged to shape temporal profile a pulse. The proposed consists array nanobars covered...

In this paper, a novel structure for graphene-based directional coupler in the THz frequency region is presented. This new configuration consists of two single-mode waveguides, placed side by with some connection gaps between them to allow coupling. Two different types couplers (single-gap and double-gap) are designed at 50[THz]. The simulation results show that single-gap has advantages low insertion loss ( ...
