Abstract The transformation of glycals into 2,3‐unsaturated glycosyl derivatives, reported by Ferrier in 1962, is supposed to involve an α,β unsaturated cation, elusive ionic species that has still be observed experimentally. Herein, while combination TfOH and flow conditions failed observe this species, its extended lifetime superacid solutions allowed characterization NMR‐based structural analysis supported DFT calculations. This allyloxycarbenium ion was further exploited the...

Solketal is derived from the reaction of acetone with glycerol, a by-product biodiesel industry. We demonstrate use NbOPO4 as catalyst for conversion solketal and anilines to quinolines.

In this paper, the structure ITO/PEDOT:PSS/P3HT:PCBM/Al was optimized by developing a Matlab program based on Transfer Matrix Formalism (Inspired McGehee Group program) [1]. The calculates optimal thicknesses of PEDOT and P3HT:PCBM layers giving best short circuit current (J SC ) value. Simulation results show clearly an improvement in optical performances for organic solar cell. Indeed,...

In this paper, the influence of blend composition and annealing temperature on optical properties organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells based P3HT:PCBM interpenetrating is presented. Optical optimization OPV cell first performed to determine optimal geometry stack. The studied device structure is: glass/ITO/PEDOT:PSS/P3HT:PCBM/Ca/Al. Simulation results give as optimized thicknesses: dPEDOT:PSS = 27 nm dActive layer 91 nm. OVP gives a short-circuit current JSC 12.48 mA/cm2. technological...

Abstract Poly(diphenyldithieno[3,2‐b;20,30‐d]thiophene) was synthesized by electropolymerization on Pt quartz crystal and an indium tin oxide electrode cyclic voltammetry. Ionic diffusion through the electronic conducting film (for p‐doping process) studied voltammetry coupled to a microbalance (E‐QCM) electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), using different electrolyte salts such as LiTFSI, LiClO 4 or LiCF 3 CO 2 . The molar ratio of insertion/expulsion anions cations estimated from...
