In 2008, Querleu and Morrow proposed a novel classification of radical hysterectomy, which was quickly accepted by the professional oncogynecological community. The (Q–M) hysterectomy has provided unique opportunity for uniform surgical anatomical terminology. offers detailed explanations landmarks resection margins three parametria uterus. However, there are still some disagreements misconceptions regarding terminology Q–M classification. This article aims to highlight anatomy all types...
Selective Systematic Nerve-Sparing Type C2 Radical Hysterectomy (RH) provides a radical parametrial resection with pelvic autonomic nerve preservation. This procedure can be performed for uterine cervical tumors between 20-40mm pre-identified risk factors, lymphovascular space invasion, and/or >50% stromal invasion. The authors have previously published the background, rationale, and basic technique of procedure, which was demonstrated in another case (1).
Abstract Background This retrospective study aims to evaluate the clinical course and long-term outcomes of patients diagnosed with adult granulosa cell tumors (AGCT). Methods The analyzed a cohort 112 AGCT median follow-up 87 months. Data regarding disease-free survival (DFS), overall (OS), recurrence rates, prognostic factors were collected analyzed. Surgical interventions, including lymphadenectomy cytoreductive surgery, assessed for their impact on outcomes. Results revealed favorable...
To evaluate the significance of different degrees birth weight discordance in twin pregnancies.Population based study.Three hundred and eighty-four gestations over 20 weeks gestation during a two-year period ending 31.12.1995 were retrospectively analyzed. Twins stratified into six categories according to percent difference infant weight. The percents was calculated from larger twin; (Birth twin--Birth smaller twin)/Birth multiplied with 100. relationship between subsequent perinatal...
To investigate the relationship between maternal vitamin D status and glucose intolerance, its impact on pregnant women their newborns.A cohort of were divided into three groups: with gestational diabetes mellitus, ones normal results both after 50 gr 100 OGTT (CG-1) having a positive result screening but negative for mellitus (GDM) (CG-2).The newborn length in CG-1 was greater than GDM CG-2 (p= 0.002 p= 0.02). Fasting blood insulin resistance (IR) negatively correlated newborns (r=-0.3,...

Introduction/Background
To investigate the uro-functional outcomes after Type C1 and C2 selective nerve-sparing radical hysterectomy (RH).
Methodology
33 RH cases were compared to 8 (Type C2N) with regard outcomes. All procedures performed under mentorship of single surgeon (gynecologic cancer anatomist), between October 2020 December 2023. During vesicovaginal ligament superior vesical branches inferior hypogastric plexus (IHP) was excised. RH, uterine vein cut from...
Intraligamentary pregnancy is a rare occurrence with reported incidence of approximately one in 245 ectopic pregnancies (Ziel et al. 1968). It associated increased maternal morbidity–mort...
Radical hysterectomy is a central surgical procedure in gynecological oncology. A nerve-sparing approach essential to minimize complications from iatrogenic injury the pelvic nerves, resulting postoperative urinary, anorectal, and sexual dysfunction. The hypogastric plexus (HP), complex network of sympathetic parasympathetic plays critical role autonomic innervation. This article offers comprehensive overview anatomy HP provides step-by-step description dissection, with particular emphasis...
We aimed to determine a threshold value that perfectly demarcates women at high risk for gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in the Turkish population. One thousand gravid of 24 32 weeks gestation were given 50 g, 1-hour glucose screening tests. A 100 3-hour tolerance test (GTT) was performed on all patients whose plasma 130 mg/dL or greater. The sensitivity and specificity each found, GDM rate calculated. Three-hundred-and-five identified GTT 66 shown have with two more abnormal values GTT....
Background . Fetal death in one of the twins is unusual and management issue such a condition not straightforward. Methods We reviewed outcomes nine twin pregnancies with dead fetus whom follow‐up period exceeded 3 weeks. Results The twinning frequency was 8.9 per thousand deliveries subsequent antepartum found to be 3.8%. preterm birth rate 45.5%and survival 90.1%. perinatal mortality 12%. Maternal clotting disorder observed patient treated successfully heparin. Conclusions suggest that...
