The isolated left subclavian artery is a rare congenital variation of the vascular structure. Herein, we report case 10-year-old boy with artery. evolved from stenosis to atresia, resulting in steal syndrome. In our case, combination echocardiography and computed tomography angiography provided comprehensive assessment cardiovascular malformations, considered necessary for definitive diagnosis.
The association between low-level crystalline silica (silica) exposure and mortality risk is not well understood. We investigated a cohort of 44,807 Chinese workers who had worked in metal mines or pottery factories for at least 1 year from January 1, 1960, to December 31, 1974, were followed through 2003. Low-level was defined as having lifetime highest annual mean under permissible limit (PEL). considered 3 widely used PELs, including 0.05 mg/m3, 0.10 0.35 mg/m3. Cumulative estimated by...
Abstract Background To explore a method for screening and diagnosing neonatal congenital heart disease (CHD) applicable to grassroots level, evaluate the prevalence of CHD, establish hierarchical management system CHD treatment at level. Methods A total 24,253 newborns born in Tang County between January 2016 December 2020 were consecutively enrolled screened by trained primary physicians via “twelve-section ultrasonic diagnosis method” (referred as method”). Specialized staff from Screening...
Abstract Background The purpose of this study was to explore echocardiographic views and methods aortic arch anomalies in infants, so as improve the screening sensitivity diagnostic accuracy. Methods 140 children with abnormal diagnosed by ultrasound Children’s Hospital Hebei Province from January 2014 December 2019 were selected for retrospective analysis. All confirmed surgery or/and computerized tomography angiography. Series (the three-vessel tracheal view, short axis left long...
Abstract Objective This study assessed whether ultrasonic speckle‐tracking imaging (STI) could help evaluate right ventricular systolic function in repaired Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with different pulmonary artery branch angles. Methods We retrospectively evaluated 64 patients who underwent surgery for TOF and 60 normal children. The angle between the left main was measured using echocardiography computed tomography angiography (CTA). Furthermore, STI used to record global longitudinal...
Objective To explore the value of ductus arteriosus in ultrasound diagnosis fetal congenital heart disease by echocardiography. Methods The echocardiography was performed with three segments method. According to position, examined different sections which include V shape sign section formed and right pulmonary artery, the gorge aortic arch, the fingers arteriosus, left Z left artery, arch. flow velocity inner diameter were measured. Results Thirty-one cases evaluted. Thirteen approved autopsy....
Objective To explor the ultrasonography methodology of fetal ductus arteriosus. Methods Based on four-chamber sight, characteristic ultrasound images were observed by moving probe, such as V-shape sign,three-finger sign,Z-shape sign andhockey-handle making up arteriosus and nearby structures probe. The inner diameter, the systole flow velocity, the diastole velocity resistance index via section measured. Results Among 365 normal fetus cases,355 cases,237 three-finger cases,298 Z-shape cases 331...
Objective To analyze the ultrasound findings of urinary calculi caused by melamine. Methods The system totally 5337 children were examined with high frequency convex probe, the characteristics images analysed. CT plain scan method was used when result in difficulty. Results There 360 cases calculus children. In cases, unilateral 92 bilateral 48, bladder stone 3, urethra 1, kidney calcium deposition 2, suspicion 214 obstruction 28 them. size stones ranged from 3 mm×2 mm to stag-horn calculus....
Objective To observe the effects of internal plate fixation applied at different times to treat limb gunshot fractures in cold and dry environment sheep. Methods Fifteen sheep were kept (-25 ℃) for 3 h. A fracture middle tibia one side hind was created by each The evenly divided into groups, which wound debrided 6, 12 24 h after injury respectively. condition healing observed. Results In all sheep, healed well no infection occurred. time groups respectively (5.20±0.44), (5.60±0.55) (6.00 ±...
Objective To explore the value of three-dimensional echocardiography (3DE) in estimating left ventricular end-diastolic volume index (LVEDVI) prognosis radical surgery tetralogy Fallot(TOF). Methods The LVEDVI 38 TOF cases were estimated respectively by method M-Mode, single plane Simpson, bi-plane Simpson and 3DE. Then difference sensitivity specificity predicting death for severe low cardiac output syndrome explored between four methods taking LVEDVI<24 ml/m2 or LVEDVI<20 as...
