The study of the refractive index traditional lenses is one foundational topics in field optics. a lens determines its ability to refract and focus light, making it key parameter optical design applications. For measurement blind samples finished lenses, this paper proposes method based on use focal length measuring instrument an aspheric profilometer measure surface shape data front back surfaces lens. This combines curve fitting algorithms curvature radius algorithms, ultimately...

Abstract Mrk 501 is a prototypical high-synchrotron-peaked blazar and serves as one of the primary targets for Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE). In this study, we report polarization measurements based on six IXPE observations. The detection at confidence level exceeding 99% achieved in four out observations conducted across entire energy range (2–8 keV) IXPE. maximum degree (Π X ) measured to be 15.8% ± 2.8%, accompanied by angle ( ψ 98.°0 5.°1 5.6 σ . Abstract The physical origin of fast radio bursts (FRBs) is still unclear. However, young magnetars associated with short-duration gamma-ray (SGRBs) have been thought to be possible central engines for some FRBs. In this paper, we perform a systematic search SGRBs that are FRBs in sample including 623 (601 one-off and 22 repeaters) 168 precise localizations. We find FRB 190309A spatially GRB 060502B, chance probability 0.05 when temporal redshift information taken into account. Considering...

ABSTRACT We report the detection of γ-ray emission by Fermi Large Area Telescope towards young massive star cluster RCW 38 in 1–500 GeV photon energy range. found spatially extended direction 38, which is best modelled a Gaussian disc 0.23° radius with significance extension ∼11.4σ. Furthermore, spatial correlation ionized and molecular gas content favours hadronic origin emission. The spectrum has relatively hard index 2.44 ± 0.03, similar to other clusters. argue that diffuse this region...

Abstract Dark photon is a new gauge boson beyond the Standard Model as kind of dark matter (DM) candidate. (DPDM) interacts with electromagnetic fields via kinetic mixing, implicating an approach to give constraint extragalactic very high energy (VHE) sources. In this work, we attempt constrain mixing from photon-dark scattering process in host galaxy blazar, intergalactic medium and Milky Way. The VHE photons blazar would pass through dense DM spike around supermassive black hole where...

Abstract We present optical photometry for the afterglow of GRB 221009A, in some respects most extraordinary gamma-ray burst (GRB) ever observed. Good quality R -band light curve is obtained, covering 0.32–19.57 days since Fermi-Gamma-Ray Burst Monitor trigger. find that a weak bump emerges from declining at t ≈ 11 days; supernova (SN) may be responsible. use smooth broken power-law and 56 Ni model to fit curve. The best-fitting results reveal SN ejected total mass M ej = 3.70 ⊙ , 0.23...

Visual place recognition (VPR) capabilities enable autonomous robots to navigate complex environments by discovering the environment's topology based on visual input. Most research efforts focus enhancing accuracy and robustness of single-robot VPR but often encounter issues such as occlusion due individual viewpoints. Despite a number multi-robot metric-based localization, there is notable gap in concerning more robust efficient place-based localization with system. This work proposes...

As part of the ongoing China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor (CFETR) studies, this work focused on study electromagnetic (EM) loads distribution inboard (IB) and outboard (OB) blanket vertical segments. In paper, a major central disruption scenario with 36-ms linear current quench was performed in ANSYS finite element software. EM forces moments, both single module complete segment, were calculated for updated helium-cooled ceramic breeder (HCCB) blanket. Furthermore, effect respect to...

That makes assembly CFETR machine more intricate challenging due to tool design, their stresses complex when weight key parts/components increases, especially cryostat vessel, vacuum vessel (VV), toroidal field (TF) magnets, poloidal (PF) thermal shielding (TS).
