Abstract The MerR-family proteins represent a unique family of bacteria transcription factors (TFs), which activate in manner distinct from canonical ones. Here, we report cryo-EM structure B. subtilis activation complex comprising six-subunit (2αββ‘ωε) RNA Polymerase (RNAP) core enzyme, σ A , promoter DNA, and the ligand-bound BmrR, prototype TFs. reveals that RNAP BmrR recognize upstream DNA opposite faces induce four significant kinks −35 element to −10 cooperative manner, restores...

We consider here the problem of image classification when more than one visual feature are available. In these cases, Bayes fusion offers an attractive solution by combining results different classifiers (one classifier per feature). This is a general form so-called "naive Bayes" approach. Analyzing performance with respect to Bayesian over joint distribution, however, tricky. On hand, it well-known that latter has lower bias former, unless features conditionally independent, in which case...

In this paper, We introduce the Interferometric Imaging Radar Altimeter (InIRA), first spaceborne wide-swath ocean radar altimeter on board Chinese Tiangong-2 space laboratory, which was launched September 15, 2016. The major mission of InIRA is to validate mechanism and design new generation altimeter, as well conduct preliminary application researches. in-orbit observation results demonstrate that it capable measuring dynamic sea surface height with wide swath, waves different scales...

In the present study, anionic lipid/peptide/DNA (LPD) complexes consisting of pH-sensitive liposome and protamine were introduced as carriers targeting RAW 264.7 cell line, which had been reported to be difficult for transfection. The LPD physically characterized. pH sensitivities sizes liposomes investigated. zeta potentials altered significantly with addition sulfate liposomes. It was demonstrated that produced an increase in stability plasmid DNA against DNase I. TEM showed size...

This paper presents for the first time results of marine gravity recovery using ocean observation data acquired by Tiangong-2 interferometric imaging radar altimeter (TG2 InIRA) which demonstrate not only balanced accuracies north and east components deflection vertical (DOV) as envisaged, but also improved spatial resolutions DOV compared with that conventional altimeters (CAs). Moreover, much higher measurement efficiency owing to wide-swath capability great potential in accuracy...

The interferometric imaging radar altimeter (InIRA) onboard Chinese Tiangong-2 Space Laboratory is a Ku-Band two-channel radar, which aims to test and validate the mechanism of wide-swath ocean topography measurement through interferometry with short baseline at small incidence angles, as well some key technologies, e.g. high-power solid state power amplifier (SSPA), from accurate sea surface height (SSH) can be retrieved. was launched on Sept. 15, 2016, currently InIRA works very well. In...

In this paper we will show that by using the nadir interferometric two beams, obtained phase (InPha) can help us to estimate baseline status. The basic idea is InPha related actual observation geometry, i.e. status, height of platform, incidence angles as well topography target. If rule out possibility variation platform or target, then relate status (rolling angle and length). An airborne altimetry experiment over lake with multi-carrier frequencies was carried test promising results were...

Ground moving trains have been imaged by many airborne and spaceborne SAR systems, but seldom ground-based radar system. In this paper, we introduce our experiment on train imaging a Ka-band system with 1 GHz bandwidth. The bandwidth is realized synthesizing 10 subpulses in frequency-jumped burst (FJB). High-resolution images for were obtained the electromagnetic scattering characteristics analyzed. Radar show that at different aspect angle, strong centers are may changeable.
