Abstract Myocardial ischemia‐reperfusion injury (MIRI) with concurrent severe sepsis has led to substantial mortality. Mild hypothermia (MHT) been proved have a therapeutic effect in either MIRI or sepsis, which suggests it might be beneficial for complicating sepsis. In this study, Sprague‐Dawley rats were allotted MHT (33 ± 0.5°C) group normothermia (NT, 37 group; as control, receiving sham surgery and normal saline kept at NT. After 2h of temperature maintenance, blood heart tissue...
The β-adrenergic receptor is a prototypical G-protein coupled that initiates signaling from the plasma membrane. However, active receptors have been detected within intracellular compartments. functional significance of these remains unclear, including whether they regulate distinct cellular processes or function independently membrane receptors. We show using live cell imaging primary cardiomyocytes localized to Golgi apparatus opposing outer nuclear are sufficient and necessary for...
Abstract Background To understand the relationship between myocardial contractility and external stimuli, detecting ex vivo is necessary. Methods We elaborated a method for detection of isolated C57 mouse papillary muscle using Myostation‐Intact system under different frequencies, voltages, calcium concentrations. Results The results indicated that basal was 0.27 ± 0.03 mN at 10 V, 500‐ms pulse duration, 1 Hz. From 0.1 to 1.0 Hz, decreased with an increase in frequency (0.45 0.11–0.10 0.02...
Objective: To explore the effect of establishing a WeChat platform for chest pain center as medium to increase treatment speed and improve prognosis patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI). Methods: The center, established by creation group, included hospitals in Chongqing that are not able perform PPCI First Affiliated Hospital Medical University, which is core includes medical staff catheter...
Cardiac lipoma is extremely rare. Here we presented a unique illustrative case of interatrial septal protruding into right atrial causing symptoms in 54-year-old male. Echocardiogram and computed tomography showed well-shaped, giant fixed occupying located septum atrium. The only manifestation was palpitation though the mass filled almost all atrium compressed superior vena cava. patient received resection large-sized sizing 87mm diameter weighing ~1000g. Pathological exam demonstrated...
