AgBr quantum dots (QDs) were decorated on the surface of Bi<sub>2</sub>WO<sub>6</sub>to form a novel AgBr/Bi<sub>2</sub>WO<sub>6</sub>heterojunction. The enhancement catalytic efficiency AgBr/Bi<sub>2</sub>WO<sub>6</sub>heterojunctions relative to pure Bi<sub>2</sub>WO<sub>6</sub>could be associated differences in their lifetime as holes and electrons, valence conduction band positions.
Spherical Bi2WO6 nanoarchitectures with scale of 2–4 μm were prepared by a hydrothermal reaction using bismuth nitrate and ammonium tungstate as raw materials.
