Three kinds of water mist with different droplet sizes are applied to understand the effect on initiation and propagation discharges in a nonuniform field at atmospheric pressure. Based measurement three mists volume fraction droplets, is demonstrated by directly comparing percentages discharge path positions those air. It can be concluded that smaller μm-droplets has negative impact discharges; larger inhibited starting growth positive but contrary effects discharge.
