In this study, ZSM-5 zeolite from rice hush ash (RHA) was synthesized and modified to assess the removal of cadmium aqueous solution using standard methods. Both were characterized XRD, SEM TEM, FTIR BET. Presence silicate in RHA confirmed with XRF contain 86.85% silicate. Batch experiments adsorption carried out specific concentration shows that both zeolites demonstrated 44% 78% ions simulated respectively. The study concluded are highly efficient adsorbent for heavy metal removal.
