Histamine, the main amine released during allergic reactions, can provoke coronary arterial spasm manifested as angina pectoris. This has been shown clinical and laboratory studies. The effects of histamine on cardiac function are mediated via H1- H2- receptors situated four chambers arteries. Coronary arteries patients hyperactive contain stores which initiate artery spasm. Clinical observations indicate that pectoris or acute myocardial infarction be provoked by reaction. coincidental...

Coronary symptoms associated with conditions related to mast cell activation and inflammatory interactions, such as those involving T-lymphocytes macrophages, further inducing allergic, hypersensitivity, anaphylactic, or anaphylactic insults, are currently referred the Kounis syndrome.Kounis syndrome is caused by mediators released during allergic postinflammatory activation, interactions via multidirectional stimuli.A platelet subset of 20% high-and low-affinity IgE surface receptors also...

The impact of systemic vascular resistance (SVR) in hypertrophic (HCM) and amyloid cardio-myopathies has been seldom investigated. We studied pressure-strain loop derived myocardial work (MW) indices SVR patients with either sarcomere HCM or wild type transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR), presented heart failure preserved left ventricular ejection fraction (HFpEF) at the outpatient cardiology units Messina Catania University Hospitals (Italy). Patients were sinus rhythm needed to have...

Takotsubo syndrome (TTS) still remains as an enigmatic phenomenon. In particular, long-term challenges (including clinical recurrence and persistent symptoms) specific entities in the setting of TTS have been evolving areas interest. On other hand, a significant gap exists regarding proper risk-stratification this phenomenon short long terms. The present paper, second part (part-2) consensus report, aims to discuss less well-known aspects including entities, after recovery risk-stratification.

In the recent years, there has been a burgeoning interest in Takotsubo syndrome (TTS), which is renowned as specific form of reversible myocardial dysfunction. Despite extensive literature available on TTS, clinicians still face several practical challenges associated with diagnosis and management this phenomenon. This potentially results underdiagnosis improper TTS clinical practice. The present paper, first part (part-1) consensus report, aims to cover diagnostic therapeutic along certain...

Background: The pathophysiological impact of systemic vascular resistance (SVR) and pressure-strain loop-derived global myocardial work index (GWI) in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR) has been randomly investigated. Methods: Both SVR GWI were assessed outpatients consecutively referred at two Italian cardiology departments for heart failure with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), affected by either nonobstructive HCM or wild-type...
