Abstract In order to improve the fluorine removal performance of bauxite, effects different calcination temperatures and several acids (HCl, H 2 SO 4 , C O ) on bauxite were investigated. It was found that temperature 500°C modification had best performance. Under same experimental conditions, fluoride rate modified could reach 99.54%, which much higher than unmodified (52.69%). The adsorbent characterized by XRD, FTIR, BET, TG/DSC, XRF. influence addition amount adsorbent, initial...
When applied to wastewater treatment, natural gibbsite has a low fluorine capacity and is therefore rarely used. In this work, the was calcined at different temperatures improve fluoride adsorption capacity. The responsible parameters, such as calcination temperature time, initial concentration, dosage, reaction time were optimized. results showed that of ion varies significantly by temperatures. best removal effect 573 K for 0.75 h its 8.3470 mg/g, which 7.4 times under same conditions....
