In this study, fluorinated liquid immersion cooling as a new scheme has been tested and discussed for the 18650 lithium-ion battery (LIB). SF33, with boiling point of 33.4 °C, is chosen cooling. Comparison SF33 forced air (FAC) LIB under 2C, 4C dynamic load conditions are made. It found that better cools all these conditions. Under discharging, maximum cell temperature rise 14.06 °C FAC, while 4.97 As basically governs temperature, should not be too low. This study demonstrates...
Abstract The macromechanical properties (strength, stiffness, stress‐strain relationship, etc) of the hydrate‐bearing sediment are often correlated with hydrate cementation failure behavior. In this study, a consolidated drained triaxial shear test X‐ray computed tomography was conducted on saturation 32.1% under 3 MPa effective confining pressure for revealing occurrences were clearly identified to be cementing, grain‐coating, prepatchy cluster and patchy cluster. behavior (morphology),...
Functional groups on silica surfaces under CO2 sequestration conditions are complex due to reactions among supercritical CO2, brine and silica. Molecular dynamics simulations have been performed investigate the effects of hydroxyl functional wettability. It has found that wettability shows a strong dependence surfaces: silanol number density, space distribution, deprotonation/protonation degree. For neutral with crystalline structure (Q3, Q3/Q4, Q4), as density decreases, contact angle...
Abstract In this study, a microfocus X‐ray computed tomography‐based triaxial testing apparatus was used to observe and quantify the microstructure evolution of hydrate‐bearing sands during thermal dissociation hydrate. Three shear tests with tomography were conducted study influence hydrate on mechanical behavior sands. The results show that covering sand particle surface dissociates first then at menisci between particles. secondary formation mainly occurs particles surfaces shells where...
