Abstract This study provides the first high-quality draft genome assembly (762.5 Mb) of Tenualosa ilisha that is highly contiguous and nearly complete. We observed a total 2,864 contigs, with 96.4% completeness N 50 2.65 Mbp largest contig length 17.4 Mbp, along complete mitochondrial 16,745 bases. A number 33,042 protein coding genes were predicted, among these, 512 classified under 61 Gene Ontology (GO) terms, associated various homeostasis processes. Highest belongs to cellular calcium...

Retrospective analysis has already shown correlation between severe Chronic Periodontitis (CP) cases with human papiloma virus (HPV). Hence, we aimed to explore deep-seated infected granulation tissue removed during periodontal flap surgery procedures for residential bacterial species HPV+ and HVP- CP cases, which may serve as good predisposition marker oral cancer. All CP-granulation samples showed the prominence of Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes phyla an abundance gram negative...

Highly keratinized oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) exhibits an improved response to treatment and prognosis compared with weakly OSCC. Therefore, we aimed develop gene transcript signature identify novel full-length isoforms, fusion non-coding RNA differentiate well-differentiated (WD) Moderately Differentiated (MD)/Poorly (PD)/WD-lymphadenopathy OSCC through, HTA, Isoform sequencing, NanoString. Additionally, specific copy number gain loss were also in WD through Oncoscan array...

The selection of most appropriate reference gene(s) is a crucial step in studies quantifying gene expression by quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR). As need should be unaffected at transcription level experimental conditions and/or tissue types. In this study, 11 candidate genes were tested Clarias batrachus for their stability using the geNorm, NormFinder and BestKeeper statistical algorithms, compared different tissues (brain, heart, liver, muscle, spleen head kidney) treatments (before...

This article documents the addition of 96 microsatellite marker loci to Molecular Ecology Resources Database. Loci were developed for following species: Clarias batrachus, Marmota himalayana, Schizothorax richardsonii, Sitophilus zeamais and Syagrus romanzoffiana. These cross-tested on dussumeri, gariepinus, Heteropneustus fossilis, granarius oryzae.

Smoking has been associated with increased risk of periodontitis. The aim the present study was to compare periodontal disease severity among smokers and nonsmokers which may help in better understanding predisposition this chronic inflammation mediated diseases. We selected deep-seated infected granulation tissue removed during flap surgery procedures for identification differential abundance residential bacterial species through long-read sequencing technology targeting full-length 16S...

Heterogeneity of non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) among patients is currently not well studied. Pathologic markers and staging systems have been a precise predictor the prognosis an individual patient. Hence, we hypothesize to develop transcript-based signature categorize stage IIIA-NSCLC in adenocarcinoma (LUAD) squamous (LUSC), plus identify that could indicate disease.Human Transcriptome Array 2.0 (HTA) NanoString nCounter® platform were used for high-throughput gene-expression...

Complete mitogenome sequence for Anguilla bengalensis (family Anguillidae) was generated through third-generation sequencing platform. The 16 714 bp mitgenome contained 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNAs, 2 ribosomal and a non-coding (control) region. gene order identical to that observed in most of the other vertebrates. comparison complete Indian mottled eel during this study with two subspecies did not agree taxonomic status three considered as one species.

Abstract Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has emerged as a significant challenge worldwide. Rapid genome sequencing of SARS-CoV-2 is going on across the globe to detect mutations and genomic modifications in SARS-CoV-2. In this study, we have sequenced twenty-three positive samples collected during first pandemic from state Uttar Pradesh, India. We observed range already reported (2-22), including; D614G, L452R, Q613H, Q677H, T1027I S gene; S194L N Q57H, L106F,...
