In 1999, Marathon Ashland Petroleum (MAP) acquired the Michigan assets of Ultramar Diamond Shamrock (UDS), which increased MAP's share terminal storage in from about 16 percent to 25 and gasoline stations bearing a MAP brand 24 percent. this paper, we examine whether acquisition affected retail price gasoline. Laser-plasma interaction experiments have been performed with both 1.05- and 0.53-\ensuremath{\mu}m-wavelength light incident on spherical glass targets.
