Abstract Since colossal ionic conductivity was detected in the planar heterostructures consisting of fluorite and perovskite, have drawn great research interest as potential electrolytes for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). However, so far, practical uses such promising material failed to materialize SOFCs due short circuit risk caused by SrTiO 3 . In this study, a series fluorite/perovskite made Sm-doped CeO 2 (SDC–STO) are developed new bulk-heterostructure form evaluated electrolytes. The...
A new family of linear structure Pt(II) (triphenylamine alkynyl) 2(triethyl-phosphine) (2-carboxy-2-cyanovinyl-X-alkynyl) (where X = thiophene (PT1), [2, 2′]-bi-thiophene (PT2) or 1,2-di(2-thienyl)ethylene) (PT3)) complexes have been synthesized and characterized. The introduction π-bridges enhanced the extent electron delocalization over whole molecules, so their maximum absorption peaks were red shifted. These tested as dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) sensitizers. PT2 showed best...
The optical property and spectroscopy of selected kinds lubricating oil are studied based on the terahertz time-domain (THz-TDS) in spectral range 0.3–1.6 THz. samples classified by their characteristics via near-infrared spectrum. experimental results reveal that is more sensitive than near-infrared, specific can be identified according to different features range. THz-TDS technology applied analysis has potentially significant impact petroleum field.
The ultrafast carrier dynamics and terahertz conductivity in semi-insulating GaAs have been investigated under electric field (E) by using optical pump-terahertz probe technique. measurements indicate that the transmission change induced pump pulses at high E is smaller than without E. We attribute this phenomenon to scattering into L valley, which leads a drop mobility. calculated transient photoconductivities fit well with Drude–Smith model, being consistent our intervalley model.
A graphite powder (GP) film-supported Cu2S counter electrode (CE) has been prepared by an accessible and low-temperature method.
Recently, appreciable ionic conduction has been frequently observed in multifunctional semiconductors, pointing out an unconventional way to develop electrolytes for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). Among them, ZnO and Li-doped (LZO) have shown great potential. In this study, further improve the electrolyte capability of LZO, a typical conductor Sm0.2Ce0.8O1.9 (SDC) is introduced form semiconductor-ionic composites with LZO. The designed LZO-SDC various mass ratios are successfully...
Semiconductor ionic electrolytes are attracting growing interest for developing low-temperature solid oxide fuel cells (LT-SOFCs). Our recent study has proposed a p-n heterostructure electrolyte based on perovskite BaCo0.4Fe0.4Zr0.1Y0.1O3-δ (BCFZY) and ZnO, achieving promising cell performance. Herein, to further improve the performance of electrolyte, an A-site-deficiency strategy is used solely modify BCFZY regulating conduction catalytic activity heterostructure. Two new electrolytes,...

Hierarchical dendritic PbS films were deposited on fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) glass substrates as counter electrodes (CE) for quantum dot-sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) by a facile one-step pulse voltage electrodeposition method.
Abstract Two new pyridine-anchoring “push–pull” dyes I and II with a triphenylamine donor different acceptors have been synthesized for p-type dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), in which an overall conversion efficiency dye reached 0.14% under standard global AM 1.5 conditions.
Abstract A series of new triarylamine‐based platinum‐acetylide complexes ( WY s) have been designed and synthesized as sensitizers for applications in dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). With the aim investigating effect a rigidifying donor structure on photoelectrical parameters corresponding DSSCs, two sensitizers, WY1 WY2 , with rigid coplanar fluorene units an electron donor, were prepared. Moreover, that contained triphenylamine WY3 WY4 also comparison. The photo‐ electrochemical...
Using the terahertz time-domain spectroscopy, complex refraction index and dielectric function of pure 2,4,6-trinitro-1,3,5-trihydroxybenzene (TNPG) are calculated with obtained parameters polyethylene (PE) a mixture TNPG PE based on Bruggeman effective medium theory. The theoretical investigation consistent experimental data in vibration spectra is presented range 0.2–2.5THz. results reveal that two absorption features identified as fingerprint our studied mainly dominated by intramolecular...
