An ion-extraction system (ISE) assembly is the most complicated unit of an ion thruster (IT). The IES electrodes made as thin-walled dished grids are subject to non-uniform radial heating. This accompanied by grid deformation. should provide stability interelectrode gap with strict tolerances. To investigate influence form (a value initial deflection) on thermal deformation (thermal behavior a screen (SG) and accelerated (AG) has been simulated for different compatible materials geometry...

Zirconium based bulk metallic glasses are industrially valuable materials which commercial market grows rapidly. Surface modification of these by high-intensity lasers is relatively new and costly treatment promising great advantages over classical surface processing methods. In this work we perform the case study Zr$_{46}$Cu$_{36.8}$Ag$_{9.2}$Al$_8$ glass millisecond laser beam. Our results suggest chemical deposition atmospheric oxygen nitrogen in laser-melted area its surroundings....
